Hello, I’m Margaret
and I work as a couple’s and individual counsellor and psychotherapist, as well as a psychological astrologer and mediator.
My practice is currently based at Oscailt on Pembroke Road and at Insight Matters on Capel Street, Dublin. I also work online with clients elsewhere.
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, my approach integrates a humanistic and person centred approach, with psychodynamic, systems and emotionally focussed therapy. I view my role as being a facilitator in your inner journey of self discovery.
As a psychological astrologer I draw upon Jungian psychology, to assist you to remember who you are, including your core inner strengths and resources.
As a mediator my task is to support you as a couple and family to create a communication bridge in the midst of change.
I have a Masters in Clinical Social Work, (FSU), a B.A. in Counselling and Psychotherapy, (IICP), a B.A. Mod. in Sociology, (TCD), a Diploma in Psychological Astrology (CPA, London) and a Diploma in Family and Workplace Mediation, (MII).
I have also done training in Group Analysis, Dreamtending, Emotion Focussed therapy and Emotionally Focussed Therapy for Couples as well as in Past Life Regression with Dr. Brian Weiss.
I am bilingual in English/Italian and have lived in the UK and the USA, as well as my native Ireland where I am currently based.GDPR
